Developed in 2025, the enwitec PowerControl 500 is a state-of-the-art generation plant controller (EZA controller) for photovoltaic systems in the C&I (Commercial & Industrial) and Utility market. Designed to meet the latest VDE/FNN guidelines, the PowerControl 500 offers a comprehensive solution for the control and monitoring of PV systems.
The PowerControl 500 acts as an interface to the grid operator and communicates the required setpoint specifications for the feed-in of active power (kW) and reactive power (kvar) to the generating units. It continuously compares the target and actual values and transmits the calculated control variables back to the generation units to ensure grid-compliant feed-in management.
