BAT BREAKER - Maximum safety for your battery storage system

On the DC side of a photovoltaic system, fuse holders are responsible for protecting against reverse feeds from intact strings into defective strings and against reverse feeds from the AC side in the event of an inverter defect. Our BAT BREAKERs were developed to protect mobile and stationary battery storage systems of various technologies (lead, lithium…) against overcurrent and short circuits. They are indispensable components for a safe and efficient electricity system.

Reliable protection and high availability

The voltage limits for direct current operation are 75V DC for the system voltage. The specially matched nominal values of our circuit breakers offer optimum reliability and availability.

Compact and cost-efficient

Our enwitec BAT BREAKERs are much more compact in design and more cost-effective than comparable NH fuse disconnectors. In contrast to previously available battery fuses, our BAT BREAKERS can be operated without protective equipment. This is particularly important as most energy storage systems are installed in private households.
