enwitec GmbH, a leading manufacturer of standard-compliant system components for photovoltaics and energy storage solutions, is now a supporting member of the Bundesverband des Solarhandwerks e.V. (bdsh). With this step, the company is reaffirming its close ties with the trade and sending a strong signal for quality, partnership and the joint shaping of the energy transition.
A partnership at eye level
Membership of the bdsh is a win-win situation for both sides: while enwitec expands its network in the trade and intensifies the direct exchange with installers, planners and specialist companies, the association benefits from the company’s technical expertise, innovative strength and practical product portfolio.
“We see ourselves as a partner to the trade – not just as a supplier,” emphasizes Marcel Rottler, Global Head of Marketing at enwitec. “Membership of the bdsh is a logical step for us to be even closer to the needs of installers and to work together to develop solutions that really make everyday life on the construction site easier.”
The bdsh – voice of the solar trade
The Bundesverband des Solarhandwerks e.V. represents the interests of over 1,000 trade businesses in the photovoltaic, storage and charging infrastructure sectors. The aim is to improve the framework conditions for the solar trade, promote practical training and ensure quality in the industry. With events, training courses and political lobbying, the BDSH is a central voice of the energy transition – directly from the trade.
Two perspectives, one goal
Interview with Troben L. Brodersen (BDSH Managing Director) and Marcel Rottler (Global Head of Marketing at enwitec):
Editorial team: Mr. Rottler, what does membership of the BDSH mean for enwitec?
Marcel Rottler: For us, this is a matter close to our hearts. We develop our products with the aim of making them as practical and easy to install as possible. Direct exchange with the trade is essential. Membership of the BDSH enables us to respond even more specifically to the needs of businesses – whether in terms of product development, service or training courses.
Editorial team: Mr. Brodersen, how do you rate enwitec’s admission to the association?
Torben Leif Brodersen: We are delighted to have enwitec as a member. The company stands for quality, reliability and technical excellence – values that also count in the trade. We particularly appreciate the fact that enwitec not only supplies products, but also actively seeks dialog and is willing to get involved in the further development of the industry. That is partnership in action.
Editorial team: What specific projects are planned?
Marcel Rottler: Together with the BDSH, we would like to offer practical training courses, e.g. on topics such as standard-compliant emergency power solutions or grid switching. We are also planning to incorporate feedback from the trade even more into our product development – for example with new EMS functions or preconfigured system solutions. Our enwitec PowerPartner campaign is also sure to be of interest to BDSH members. Here we offer tradespeople in the solar industry a direct channel to our expertise and active exchange.
Torben Leif Brodersen: That is precisely our goal: to bring manufacturers and tradespeople together in order to become better together. With enwitec, we have gained a partner who wants to go down this path with us – and that makes us very happy.
Working together for the energy transition
enwitec’s membership of the BDSH is a strong signal for the industry: when trade and industry pull together, solutions are created that are not only technically convincing, but also work in everyday life. For a decentralized, secure and sustainable energy supply – in Germany and beyond.
